Yup, end game will get better over time. We still have some situations and events that do not trigger enough yet which will hopefully provide more late game challenge.
I was thinking of adding south korea at some point :D At the moment all of the laffer curves are the same, but the public reaction to stuff is very varied based on their capitalist/socialist mix, so politically the situation should feel different in each country with the same policies.
I almost absolutely love the game, however I literally cant play it as it is too easy. It seems no matter what I do on the hardest difficulty I just keep getting voted back in! I love the idea of the game, but it cant be good as there is no challenge. I am aware I am not the only one who thinks this and many people feel the same. Might I suggest a much higher difficulty option?
same! I did a run where I just appeased one single group, and I figured everyone else must have ran to the opposing party, but somehow I destroyed them at the polls :s was a bit of a letdown!
With all due respect, but I am not the only one that has problem with Steam key, and neither did I get reply from support nor the developer. I must say that I am quite dissapointed. On top of that, we paid more than the game is on steam. This lead me to conclusion to ask for a refund via the support. Please improve next time.
When it comes to game latest version that is quite stable.
I like the ministers management, 3 party system, more events including ones on intro page per each turn, game is more visually friendly and more policies are also a plus. However the game does not seem to me to be much different than Democracy 3. Graphics and Gameplay have only minor changes, I expected game to be a lot more reworked for price of 30 dollars.
The game is the exact same price on here and on steam. You shold have a steam key in your itch account if you bought the game. I can see that a lot of keys have been claimed. are you not able to see one?
I've emailed itch to ask them what the hell is going on, because they have the keys, people are claiming them, and its all set up correctly... they have not replied to me yet :(

Hey, sorry didn't explain myself well. When I loaded up v1116 it didn't let me submit the feedback (voting on developer priorities) and it didn't have the 'new game' button or load game for that matter. Re-downloading it now to try again.

When I use wine 4.0.1.1 the game doesn't even launch and when I use wine 1.8.6 the game launches, begins to load but I receive an alert either saying 'prefix creation exited with error' or 'prefix creation aborted.'
hmmm. im afriad I do not own a mac, so have not used it myself, I know its working forn some users. It only uses a relatively old opengl version so shouldnt have any compatibility issues :( I'll ask around.
I bought this game off of the developers website, installed it, and it won't play. I would really like an answer to why because if this game doesn't work I'm going to be pissed since no developer could answer my question or anyone else's questions about why Democracy 3 won't work on Steam

surely its *possible*. Unpopualr, definitely but theoretically possible, even if it leads to vigilante mobs, rioting and losing an election

A) The game is cheaper on the steam (including VAT)
B) you can clearly see that I do not have option to claim steam key, nor it is recorded on my invoice.
This all just caused me unneeded trouble and I still insist on my inquiry to get the refund.
Please respect my decision and I really hope to see major improvements to the game, and better support when it comes to Sales and handling problems.

steam keys should now already be in your itch account...err...i think there is a button to 'claim key' or something?

Click- My Library
Click- My Purchases
Click- Democracy 4
Then-Claim Steam Key
I don't see any option like that to get the key. Only price I paid on which date and link for download.

Yes, we are working on a fix for this. its most annoying. I assume you are seeing this:

It seems to be some driver/screen res combination :(. Does it happen after about half an hour or more of playing?

we are not sure if we will be releasing on mac, but if you use WINE (free emulator) it will run fine through that.
